HELLO! |
I grew up on the North Fork of Long Island. Sand, wine and anchors remind me of home. I miss being surrounded by water the most. I married my college sweetheart in 2011; we had a "vintage-vaudeville" theme, served BBQ and made the DJ play pop punk. We welcomed our baby girl, Piper Louise, in January of 2017. She loves cats, zombies, and wrapping presents. We love to travel. My heart loves to bake by candle light, if there is a thunderstorm that's a plus. I like to work by candle light too. I'm half British and half Polish, so I love Pierogie and Jaffa Cakes equally. Fall is my season: Sweaters, hot cider, corn mazes, pumpkin & cinnamon flavor/scented everything!! I have playlists for each season. When it comes to Photography, a darker room with some awesome window light is my jam. I love exploring finding hidden little spots that will make portraits unique. "Golden Hour" is where my heart is. You can expect three things: first, you're most likely going to get dirty. Second, I'm going to ask you to do stupid/silly things. Third, I have the mouth of a sailor (when kids aren't around). I planned my wedding back home on Long Island while I was living in Upstate NY (way back before Pinterest and Instagram were a thing, aka, forever ago). I know what it's like to plan a wedding long distance, and I've been fortunate enough to help brides from across the country as they get ready for their big day in New York State. In most cases, these brides were returning to home, like I did, and others fell in love with the Adirondacks and decided to have destination weddings. Either way, I try to make it just a little bit easier from meeting with designated planners in the area, to late night video chats in different time zones. I've also been invited by New York brides to accompany them at their destination elopements, most recently to Florida and Maine. I started photographing weddings in 2015, and just recently stepped aside to focus on portraiture. |
